Women’s Ministry Lead Servant

Almatha Clark Taylor lives her life so that the work she does speaks for her!  JOY (Jesus – Others – You) is a way of life for her.  She shares JOY by working in her church and in the community.  She is a Deaconess, Lead Servant of the Women’s Ministry and mentor to many.

 As a Community Leader, she was the 1st African American and Woman to serve on the Galena Park ISD Board of Trustees.  She was also instrumental in bringing the 1st School Based Health Clinic to GPISD.  This community clinic bears her name and serves more than 1000 clients per month.

 She is the wife of Deacon Johnnie L. Taylor and a mother and a grandmother to her biological children and a host of “adopted” children.  Psalm 23:6
